    1. This book was ok. I would rate it a 3.5. Serena Boyce and Lucien Clayborne. Serena is married to a much older and impotent man, Lord Warrington who asks her to take on a lover in order for him to have a legitimate heir before he dies, so that his horrible nephew, Alastair will not inherit.Serena loves her husband and considers him her best friend. At his request, she ends up going to Vauxhall with a widowed friend, gets robbed, and ends up getting saved by Lucien, the handsome green eyed man wit [...]

    2. I love books by Shelley Bradley/Shayla Black, one and the same author as long as it is not ménage, which some of her books are. One Wicked Night is a story of Lady Serena Boyce. When Serena’s husband, the elderly Duke of Warrington, could not give her an heir, he begged her to take a lover in order to conceive a child. She never dreamed it would mean falling in love. One look at the handsome stranger who rescued her from a thief, and virginal Serena was overcome with desire. Dark and compelli [...]

    3. Still on my Regency Romance run. I know this author mainly for her contemporary books so I was a little hesitant in picking up this Regency knowing that her current writing style would not fit the Regency time period too well. But I was presently surprised when it was actually very well written for the time period. I really like it in general. The characters where very likable. The romance was both very sweet and intense. Why only three stars? I look away one star for the ending. For real! It's l [...]

    4. First of all OH MY GOD, how is it I did not know about Shelley Bradley when these books first came out in 2000. From the moment I picked up One Wicked Night to read (which is a re release in e format ) I could not put it down. I love the dynamics of a dominate male and a no so submissive woman. This Book will make you cry scream laugh and possibly want to strangle some one, but will still get you to the warm fuzzy feeling at the end. One Wicked Night is tame compared to Shelley Bradley's other p [...]

    5. This book wasn't wicked at all - by the second half became extremely tedious and repetitive. Heroine was TSTL in the extreme, twice secretly going out based on a note when she knew her life was in danger. Hero treats the heroine like shit because he thinks she's manipulative like his ex-wife. Heroine spends half the book trying to deny her sexual urges because she wants to be a moral good christian. It all makes no sense in the context and this 'conflict' is most of the book.

    6. I was hesitant to read this book because I normally don't read historical fiction but being a fan of the author I thought. I'd give it a shot. I totally loved it!!! After the doomsday brethren series this is my next favorite Shayla Black/Shelley Bradley book. The storyline is great. The characters draw you in. There was not one part of this book I didn't like.

    7. Lady Serena is married to a older duke who is impotent. In need of an heir Lady Serena spends one night in disguise with Lucien a member of the nobility and a marquess. Lady Serenna misleads Lucien as to who she is. When he discovers she sought him out to bear a heir for her dying husband he despises her. This book is on my keeper shelf.

    8. I don't read much historical romances but I have to admit this was a pretty good one. I mean the hero is in pain and brooding but absolutely in love with the heroine. The heroine is lonely, confused and fighting something she can't quite control. It was a beautiful book, touched with danger and murder.

    9. Really liked this one. A historical piece with masterful but injured man, and a willful woman. Great story.

    10. I read the ebook release under Shayla Black, aka Shelly Bradley. Excellent book set in Regency England. Well-written story line and great characters. Highly recommended.

    11. I'm not big on historical romances, but this wasn't a bad story. Although, it did drag in some parts.

    12. Great book i love shelley bradley! This is the first historical of hers Ive read, now i want to read them all.

    13. I am not the biggest fan of historical romance but I love Shayla black so I read this and I was not disappointedwould have liked more love scenes (she writes the best) but I enjoyed it
